Source matters.
Clear rules for what appears here, what the labels mean, and how paid services work.
Two sources. One eligibility rule.
A public listing must have an active entry in the Official MCP Registry or a documented page in Claude's Connectors Directory. A listing can have both. We may quarantine a listing while investigating an issue even if its source remains active.

Check the source, then check the permissions.
Source labels and checkmarks identify a documented source listing. We do not guarantee that any server is safe, secure, accurate, or suitable for your task. Review the publisher, code where available, authentication requirements, and requested permissions before connecting it. We never ask you to give the directory your MCP API keys.
Fresh information, honest gaps.
Registry updates are scheduled hourly, and the Claude catalog is scheduled for a daily refresh. Each profile shows when its source was checked. Source outages do not erase the last good catalog. Undocumented capabilities, compatibility, or authentication remain unknown rather than being guessed.
The Registry can contain third-party implementations of familiar services. Read the publisher and source identity carefully. A familiar name is not evidence that the service vendor built that server.
Paid profiles and sponsorship.
Sitewide display sponsorships can promote AI infrastructure and developer tools. These advertisements are labeled Sponsored. Official source requirements and source badges apply to MCP listings in the catalog.
Eligible source records can appear in the directory without payment. An enhanced profile is a separate editorial service, currently offered at $99 after approval. Sponsorship is quoted for a specified placement and period. Applications are reviewed for eligibility, ownership evidence, and proposed content before checkout is offered.
Payment does not buy an official source badge, guaranteed organic ranking, security certification, subreddit endorsement, or guaranteed impressions. Sponsor engagement reports describe measured or estimated activity; setup clicks are intent signals, not confirmed installations.
If we cannot deliver an approved paid service, we will arrange a refund or agreed credit. If a source is removed or a listing is quarantined during sponsorship, its paid visibility is paused and the unused period is reviewed for a refund or agreed credit. Report a billing issue through the contact details supplied with your order.
Your account and information.
Publisher accounts store an email address, submitted content, ownership evidence, review history, and order records. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes. Payments are processed by Stripe; the directory does not store card details. Saved servers are stored in your browser. Application analytics measure directory and sponsor interactions.
MCPnewsletter.
Newsletter signup is optional and separate from a publisher account. We store your email address, signup location, and the time and version of your consent. New signups are recorded as unverified opt-ins. We do not sell subscriber addresses or share them with sponsors. Every newsletter edition will include an unsubscribe link.
Top picks.
Top picks are selected by our editors for practical usefulness, clear setup documentation, and relevance to common developer workflows. They are not a popularity chart. Paid featured placements are labeled Sponsored and do not determine editorial selection.
